In a fit of paranoia, I’ve deleted all webpage posts containing scenes from my evolving novel. At this point, I’ve found a few people willing to give hardcore, paper-bleeding feedback to satisfy my strange appetite for criticism; thus, I’m locking it away to preserve my low-self esteem (or vanity that someone might steal it?) from random hits.
Seeing as this address is already paid-in-full for the next 10 months, I suppose I’ll make use of the space as any other (secretly) self-loathing and slightly insecure writer desperately seeking feedback and validation would: I’ll turn it into a blog! It’s not as vogue as a twitter page, but I guess it shall have to do.
Check back in a week–perhaps by then the craziness of my sister’s wedding will have relaxed its firm grip on the throat of my time.
Ah crap, guess I missed the boat.
The public posting has been withdrawn; however, I am more than happy to privately email copies to willing critics.
Let me know if someone fits that bill O.o
I still would like to read what you’ve been working on. After all, a fiercer critic you will not find.
Also, feel free to stop by my little corner of the Interwebs if the mood strikes you. It’s a blog I’ve dedicated to fictionalizing my own life (because, let’s face it, the real thing ain’t worth printing). Hopefully I can actually keep this one going.
